Acceptable Use

Effective June 15, 2026 · Last updated June 15, 2026

Diggby gives you a head start on Alberta's newest businesses. Use it to grow yours — not to undercut the work and the people who make it possible.

01What you can do

Your subscription lets you use Diggby's feeds, leads, and contact details for your own legitimate business development — researching prospects, reaching out, and winning customers in the markets you subscribe to.

02What you can't do

You agree not to:

  • Resell or redistribute. Sell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise share Diggby data with anyone outside your business.
  • Share access. Share your login or magic link, or let non-subscribers use your account.
  • Scrape or bulk-export. Use bots, scrapers, or automated bulk export to copy the feed, or build a competing or derivative dataset from it.
  • Circumvent limits. Bypass rate limits, market or slot limits, authentication, or other access controls.
  • Use leads unlawfully. Use any contact or signal for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or discriminatory purposes.
  • Spam. Send messages that violate Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), Do-Not-Call rules, or applicable privacy law.
  • Over-reach. Re-identify, profile, or enrich individuals beyond what's needed for legitimate B2B outreach, or contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted.

03Contacting leads responsibly

Diggby surfaces commercial signals from the public record. How you use them is your responsibility. When you reach out, you are responsible for complying with CASL, PIPEDA, Alberta's PIPA, and any Do-Not-Call obligations — including consent, identification, and unsubscribe requirements. When in doubt, get advice before you send.

Good outreach is specific, relevant, and easy to opt out of. That's also what works — treat these leads like the real businesses and people they are.

04Enforcement

If we believe you've violated this policy, we may warn you, throttle or suspend your access, or terminate your account without refund. Serious or unlawful misuse may be reported to the appropriate authorities. We may also take steps to protect the integrity of the data and other customers.

05Report a problem

To report abuse, a data concern, or a security issue, email eric@diggby.com. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
